What are the requirements to apply for the GU PAT grant?
Any person who signed a contract with an NFL team for any length of time and is experiencing a financial hardship is eligible to apply.
I have received a prior award. Am I eligible to apply?
After any grant approval, an applicant is not eligible to apply for financial assistance until three (3) years after their initial approval.
I was not required to file taxes last year. What should I do?
If you were not required to submit a Federal Tax Return, you will need to submit a copy of your Tax Transcript. Learn how to obtain this document from the GU PAT Grant Checklist at https://www.yourpaf.com/gupat/application/
What type of assistance is covered through the GU PAT grant?
Financial crisis, uncovered medical expenses and the completion of a player’s undergraduate degree, certification, trade school, etc. that is not covered by The Trust Scholarship are eligible for consideration through the GU PAT.
What is Money Management International?

Who will see and review my application?
Your application will be reviewed by a small committee made up from the PAF Board of Directors. A Professional Athletes Foundation staff member will process the application prior to the review and issue your decision after the review has been completed.
How long does it take to receive a decision?
A decision will be issued within a 30-day window from receiving a completed application.
